Special Services for Special People
At Assisted LifeStyles of Kansas, Inc., we offer comprehensive assisted living services. We have live musical performances and readings from the newspaper, so residents can keep up with current events. There are activities planned seven days a week, so our residents are always keeping busy.
We also have Certified Medication Aides and Certified Nurse Aides (to assist with bathing) on staff. We have an LPN on staff, and our director is on the premises five days a week, making sure that all of our tenants are fully satisfied and cared for. We serve three meals a day in our spacious dining room and snacks are available. We do not offer skilled nursing care.
Assisted LifeStyles of Kansas, Inc. is licensed by the State of Kansas, and is contracted through the Home-Community Based Services of Kansas Medicaid.
Family Involvement
Family members can provide valuable guidance concerning the resident’s abilities, preferences, daily routines, and specific needs. We also offer tours of our superior facility for residents’ family members.
Respite Care*
At-home caregivers of elderly parents can take part in the respite program available at Assisted LifeStyles. This program is designed to offer care when caregivers need to go on vacation or take some time off from their daily routines.
The respite program is for periods up to 30 days, and is designed for people who receive care at home. Respite residents receive all services available to full-time residents.
